The past week or so

1. I am soooo thankful for air Conditioning and when it works properly!! Our swamp cooler died last week and we were dying, but we got a new one. If any one wants a sauna, just take a bat to the AC and voila! You just saved yourself a lot of mullah.

2. My Computer went on the fritz, so It might be a few days before I'm back on. We're waiting for some parts to come in the mail. Grrr.

3. Anita Stansfield. I love her books. I'm currently reading her new "Dancing" series and they are amazing. --But don't attempt to read them with out a box of tissues nearby. The two and a halve books I've read so far are definatley tear jerkers. good stuff though. It makes me think How i would react if I was in the same situation as the characters. i always now I'm reading a good book when I find myself wondering what the characters are doing in the middle of the day as if they are real people. Anybody else do crazy stuff like that?

4. I finally got my Cosmetology State Board Test Date. August 24th. It's a Friday. I'm suddenly really nervous knowing that I have an actual date to look forward to now. It's gonna be here before i know it. Crazy!! Now i just need to find a model to take with me. Anyone with a semi short hairstyle that doesn't mind getting shaving cream in their hair interested? (We use pretend chemicals for safety reasons for the test. . .)


5. Joshua learned how to bark like a dog. It's the funniest thing ever. And he did it right out of the blue the other day. He pointed to our dog, PJ, and said, "Doggie!! Ruff Ruff!!" Too cute.
