Joshua will officially be 18 months at the end of the week. Where has the time gone?! Crazy. I have totally been putting off the getting rid of the binkie, probably because I just don't want to admit that he is actually a toddler now and not a baby. But with four new teeth coming in, I figure it's time. Little Joshua went to bed last night with out his binkie and cried for over an hour. It was so so sad. And today at nap time, he kept asking me for his "kinkie" and when I told him it was all gone, he had a total melt now. He was walking around the house looking under pillows and in corners for his beloved "kinkie." I almost gave in and just gave him one. It was so pathetic. But I am proud to say that he is still binkie free and I was strong. -- even though it was totally not easy. And he only cried for 20 minutes at nap time, so it will be interesting to see what happens tonight.

You are a BRAVE Mommy! I let Olivia has hers until she was 2 1/2 and Elsa's well on her way to reaching that mark.
