A couple of days ago Joshua decided to help me out in the morning by handing me my glasses. In his helpfulness, he managed to mangle them into a heap. I stopped wearing contacts right before giving birth cause it was such a hassle when I was getting up a bunch of times in the middle of the night. So, being blind as I am now, I decided now would be a good time to go back to wearing contacts.
So I went to the eye doctor on Monday and picked up a trial pair of Acuvue Advanced Toric lenses the next day. They are the same contacts that I was wearing before.
Yesterday, before I was getting ready to clock out at work, I glanced in the mirror and had to do a double take. My eyes were completely blood shot- there were no white spots on my eyes to be seen. I thought that this was interesting sense my eyes weren't even bugging me. They just felt a little dry, so I put a few eye drops in and it burned! That is totally not suppose to happen. So I ran back to the eye place, since it's in the Mall, and had my eyes checked out. Apparently, I had an allergic reaction to either the contacts, which I've worn before, or the solution, which is the same brand I've always used. So weird. I have to wait a week and go back to the doctor before putting anything else in my eyes. Bummer. So now, I am trying to decide if I should just forget about contacts and just stay with glasses, or give another pair of contacts a shot. What would you do?

How did it get so late so soon? It's night before it's afternoon. December is here before it's June. My goodness how the time has flown. how did it get so late so soon? -Dr. Seuss
