Lexi Rae's Blessing Day

Last Sunday my little niece was blessed up in Las Vegas. We got up at 4 in the morning to make it there in time and it rained most of the way there. It was a really pretty drive. We even got to see a ginormous rainbow right as we were pulling into town. It was beautiful. And Lexi is sooooo stinkin' cute! Any ways, here are a few pic's for Lexi's mommy. You can click on the photos to make them bigger. I was really dissapointed in how a lot of my photos turned out. . . kinda blurry. I guess I should have left my camera on full automatic until I can figure out how to use my camera. Lesson learned.

The awesome Rainbow. I wish I could have gotten the whole thing. It's rare to see the full arc of a rainbow. . .don't mind the spots. The photo was taken from the inside of the car on the off ramp.

The Happy little Rook Family.

The Big Rook family

Both families together. . . minus me, cause I am a dork and didn't figure out how the timer on my camera works until AFTER we took the photo. go figure!

Auntie Lacey and Auntie Kelsey.
My mom's camera flash went off right when i took the photo, hence the reason they look like ghosts. I really do not like using a flash unless it is an emergency.

Grandma Rook. The other Grandma left before I could take some photos of her.

Lexi really liked Uncle Joe. She went to sleep the minute he started holding her.

Big yawn!

I hope these photos will due, Cecily. I have a few more candid shots of every one that was at the brunch, but I still need to finish editing them a little more. . .
Let me know what ya'll think.

Well, I'm off to clean my house. I'll try to do another post a little later.
Hope everyone has a great day!

LOVE the "hands" shot and LOVE LOVE the "yawn" shot. You got some good ones, but I feel for you with not getting the pics you want at events like that... it is irksome to say the least!

How did it get so late so soon? It's night before it's afternoon. December is here before it's June. My goodness how the time has flown. how did it get so late so soon? -Dr. Seuss
